About the course

The RBMT oral prep course is designed to cover the full syllabus for the MCA OOW <3,000 GT Yacht oral exam as set out in MSN 1858.

Students get an RBMT text book for the course with key phases and requirements for all of the items covered and to make notes in during the course. This can then be used as a key revision resource up to the day of the exam.

Throughout the course students have full access to the comprehensive RBMT library of publications, charts and navigational instruments to reference and use. Students will also get 3 individual mock exams to properly evaluate their knowledge level and identify areas that need additional revision/knowledge.

The course is run with a maximum of four students in a nice four-bedroom holiday let here in Cowes on the Isle of Wight and is spread over seven days with six days of tuition and one day self-study, which works very well.

The course price is £1,600 (including accommodation)
